Mtangazaji afananishwa na Amina Chifupa

MTANGAZAJI wa Shirika la Utangazaji Tanzania (TBC), Mariam Migomba, anafananishwa na aliyekuwa mtangazaji wa redio Clouds FM, Amina Chifupa Mpakanjia.

Mtunzi na mwimbaji wa nyimbo za mahadhi ya taarab, Hammer Q amesema leo kuwa, watu katika maeneo mbalimbali ndani na nje ya Tanzania wanamfananisha kipaji na Mariam na kile cha Amina.

Amina alikuwa mtangazaji na baadaye akawa Mbunge wa Viti Maalum katika Bunge la Tanzania hadi alipoaga dunia.

Ameyasema hayo leo asubuhi jijini Dar es Salaam wakati anazungumza na Hammer Q katia kipindi cha Muziki wa Mwambao kinachorushwa na kituo cha televisheni cha TBC1 cha Shirika la Utangazaji Tanzania (TBC).

Migomba ametamba kwamba ana vipande vya maneno sivipande vya mihogo, na ana vipande vya maneno na si vipande vya kashata.

Katika hali iliyowaacha watu wengi mahakamani wakibaki na kicheko, wanandoa hao walimwambia jaji Ifeanyinwa Okenwa kwamba walifanya kitendo hicho ili kuongeza viungo vya kuamsha mapenzi yao ambayo yalikuwa yameanza kufifia baada ya ndoa yao ya miaka minne.

"Mke wangu amekuwa akiniambia mara kwa mara kwamba anataka tuyakuze mapenzi yetu kwa kufanya kitu kisicho cha kawaida" alisema Akintepe.

"Nilifikiria kuwa litakuwa wazo zuri kama tutafanya mapenzi kanisani huku Mungu akituangalia. Nilijua ni wazo linalohitaji ujasiri. Nilimwambia mke wangu naye akalipenda sana".

Wazazi wa Caster Semenya, bibi yake na ndugu zake wanaamini kuwa Semenya ni mwanamke lakini wengi wanamtilia mashaka.

Mama yake mzazi, Dorcus Semenya anaamini kuwa binti yake ni mwanamke na hakuna anayeweza kubadili hilo.

Mmoja waliowahi kuwa walimu wake wakuu, Eric Mobida amesema, aligundua kuwa Semenya ni mwanamke wakati 'msichana' huyo alipokuwa na umri wa miaka 15!

Kwa mujibu wa Mobida, Semenya alikuwa mtundu, alipenda kucheza na wavulana na alipenda pia kucheza soka.

Bibi wa mwanariadha huyo, Maphuthi Sekgala, amesema, mjukuu wake anapenda namna alivyo na alikuwa ni 'msichana' pekee kwenye timu ya mpira wa miguu ya kijijini walipokuwa wanaishi.

Baba mzazi wa mwanariadha huyo, Jacob Semenya amesema, hajawahi kutilia shaka jinsi ya mwanae, Caster ni mwanamke, na anaweza kurudia kauli hiyo mara milioni na milioni.

Semenya ni mshindi wa medali ya dhahabu mbio za mita 800 katika michuano ya riadha ya dunia inayoendelea Berlin nchini Ujerumani.

The governing body of world athletics, the IAAF, has asked South Africa to test their star 18-year-old's gender after her muscular physique and extraordinary performances sparked speculation over whether she is really female.

But her proud mother Dorcus Semenya declared: 'I know who and what my child is. Caster is all girl, and no one can change that.'

Speaking from her home in the rural village of Seshego in South Africa's Limpopo province, the mother-of-six added:

'If you ask any of my neighbours, they would tell you that Caster is a girl.'

However, Caster's former headmaster, Eric Mobida, said she was about 15 before he realised she was a girl.

'She was always rough and played with the boys,' he said. 'She liked soccer and she wore pants to school, never a dress. It was only in grade 11 that I realised she's a girl.'

Caster's grandmother, Maphuthi Sekgala, said the athlete had been teased about her masculine appearance since the day she joined the village soccer team as the only girl.

Mrs Sekgala, 80, said: 'I know she's a woman. I raised her myself.'

Champion: Semenya has been given with her gold medal but it could be taken away if gender tests reveal she is a man - promoting Kenya's Janeth Jepkosgei Busienei to gold and Britain's Jenny Meadows to silver.

Caster's father pleaded for people to leave his daughter alone. Jacob Semenya said:

'She is my little girl. I have never doubted her gender. She is a woman, and I can repeat that a million times.'

He said he was positive the results of the IAAF gender tests would show she was a true female running hero.

Semenya's sister Nkele, 16, also defended her legitimacy as a female and said: 'People must stop calling her a man because we are proud of her.'

The ruling African National Congress called on South Africans to rally behind their 'golden girl' role model, saying:

'We condemn the motives of those who have made it their business to question her gender due to her physique and running style.

Just before joining the Army, I had had my first serious relationship - but unbeknown to me, he was engaged to another girl all the time we were dating.

Jaji wa Mahakama ya Rufaa Tanzania, Salum Massati, amesema, Zombe na wenzake hawana hatia kwa kuwa hakuna ushahidi kuthibitisha kuwa walishiriki kuua watu wanne Januari 14 mwaka 2006 katika msitu wa Pande, Mbezi mkoani Dar es Salaam.

Jaji Massati amesema katika hukumu hiyo kwamba, upande wa mashitaka umeshindwa kuthibitisha kwamba washitakiwa hao waliua wafanyabiashara watatu wa madini wa Mahenge, Morogoro na dereva wa teksi mkazi wa Dar es Salaam.

Zombe alikuwa mshitakiwa wa kwanza katika kesi hiyo, alidai kuwa alitolewa kafara kama Yesu kwa kuwa kuna watu wanamuonea wivu.

Jaji Massati amewataka polisi wakawakamate watu waliowaua wananchi hao ili washitakiwe.

Hukumu hiyo imewashangaza watu waliokuwa mahakamani na walionekana kutoamini alichokisema Jaji huyo.

Jaji Massati amesema, upande wa mashitaka unaweza kuwasilisha pingamizi la hukumu hiyo katika kipindi cha siku 14 kuanzia leo.

Alisoma hukumu hiyo kwa takribani saa sita katika chumba namba moja katika Mahakama Kuu Tanzania, Dar es Salaam.

ARSENE WENGER reckons he has as much chance of signing Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi as the Catalan giants have of getting Cesc Fabregas.

Wenger said: "I have made a bid for Messi and nobody speaks about it.
"They said he's £125m. It's the same.

"There is no chance we will sell Cesc.

"Do you really think we would sell our players one day before the championship starts, the basis of our team? No chance."

When Wenger was told that Fabregas has Barcelona blood in him, the Gunners manager replied:

"A man is always defined by the way he is committed to his contract and that has nothing to do with the blood he

"Cesc is committed to the club. He has told me that and told that to the Press.

"We cannot master the noises coming out of Spain. It is not him who encourages the idea. We are not in a weak financial position, we don't need to sell anybody.

He said: "Maybe some of the fans on our side have the fear we will drop out of the top four. But that is guided by fear, not an objective assessment of our performances.

"Certainly it could be the most competitive race since I've been here. But at the start we race for the top one.

"The minimal target is the top four but you don't start the season thinking like that.

"At the moment, nobody looks at us as a potential fighter for the title. That should not add too much pressure on our shoulders but it can.

"There is a demand to show how good we are. We have to keep serene, focused and not put un-needed pressure on our shoulders."

Wenger has spent just £10million this summer - on Ajax centre-back Thomas Vermaelen - while City have splashed out £90m on players.

In his most detailed interview since arriving at Arsenal 13 years ago, Wenger admitted he knew exactly the scale of the project he was turning down when he rejected the opportunity to work with Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka at Madrid this season.

He says he stayed because he believes he can win the title with Arsenal.

‘I felt if I left I would have in some way betrayed my beliefs,’ Wenger told Sportsmail as he launched Arsenal’s Great Ormond Street charity appeal.

‘It was that simple. It was nothing to do with Real Madrid, it was about Arsenal.

‘I knew what Madrid were about to do, but I have a project here that I started four years ago and I wanted to reach the end of it.

I could not leave this team at this stage of their development.

The team we have now gets there, and by that I mean it wins the championship.

At 22 or 23 I think a team is mature enough to deliver and it is a massively important year for our club. I am conscious of that.

I know people have no patience any more, but I agreed on a structure at the club that I believed could work, and we are at the period now when we will see whether I was right.

‘To talk of winning the league is an audacious statement but I built this team and I want to deliver with this team.

‘So far, we have flirted with success. We were never in the race for the championship last year, but before that, and certainly in 2006, when we were in the Champions League final, it happened.

‘The team looks to be growing and gelling and being close, but at the moment they do not get credit for what they produce and, like every team who have not won a trophy,they still doubt whether they can win.

‘Other clubs have more money but that is not difficult for me.

At Arsenal, we try to go a different way that, for me, is respectable. When you look to buy all the time it becomes a trap.

‘When Cesc Fabregas was a teenager, I would play him with Patrick Vieira and it did not work.

Gilberto Silva and Vieira worked, Fabregas and Silva worked, but I could not play Fabregas and Vieira.

But Fabregas was 19 and if he did not play I knew he would want to go, so we risked destroying everything, all the work we had put into this player. That is why I sold Vieira.

‘Now we have that situation with Jack Wilshere.

He is 17 and we cannot ask him to play every game to win the championship.

But next year he will be ready, he will want to play all the time and if we have bought a player in his position he will want to go.

Prize assets: Wenger has nurtured Fabregas' many talents and the 59-year-old looks to do the same with Wilshere ‘I believe in work, in connections between the players.

You can win in different ways, by being more of a team, or by having better individual players, but I think what is more important is to look at what you have at your own club.

‘If I had gone to Real Madrid I would have spent, yes.

If you have the money and you find the one player who can make you win and make the difference, no matter how expensive he is, you should do it.

But there are not many players in the world who will make a real difference.

Wenger also defended selling two of his first-team players, Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure, to Manchester City, tipped as strong challengers to Arsenal this season.

‘My only question was whether we could afford to sell Adebayor,’ Wenger added.

‘You come to the conclusion, can you stop Manchester City creating a big team? I don’t believe so.

If we do not sell Adebayor they will buy Samuel Eto’o or somebody because they have the resources.

'Their technique involves the largest baboons jumping up and down on the box, flexing it until the lock bursts open, then the rest of the baboons pile in to see what they can find,' Mr Ross said.

'Obviously, we're well used to them helping themselves to the odd wing mirror or wiper blade, but this has taken things to a whole new level.

'Let's face it, nobody wants to see a baboon running up a tree with their underwear.'

But Mr Ross said some visitors continued to ignore the warnings and paid a high price, with staff forced to re-enact the scenario for park guests so they could see the effect for themselves.

'Unfortunately though, we still get drivers who don't think it will happen to them and they decide to take a chance,' he said. 'That's why we recently staged a demonstration to show the reality of the risks drivers face.

'The baboons were into the luggage box on our car within minutes and absolute mayhem ensued.

'We will now be able to show photographs of this incident to visitors with cargo boxes who may be thinking of playing "Russian roulette" in the monkey jungle.'

There are currently more than 140 baboons at Knowsley Safari Park and visitor surveys consistently show them to be the attraction's most popular exhibit.

KIDS as young as NINE are being treated for alcohol abuse at a drying-out clinic.

Staff at a centre in Aberdeen have already helped six boozers under the age of 10 this year.

Andrew Hall, chief executive of Alcohol Support, which runs Albyn House clinic in the city, said they had 38 under-16s registered, with dozens more on the waiting list.

And he believes the binge drinking epidemic facing Scotland's youth is only going to get worse.

Mr Hall said last night: "There is an increasing demand on our service from children aged nine and up - it's a growing problem.

"At one stage this year we were treating six children under the age of 10.

"All the evidence shows that children are starting to drink earlier, they are drinking more and the results are getting worse - we now have kids dying of liver failure."

Mr Hall - whose group treats 1,000 people a year - said the majority of the children involved were aged 11 to 15.

In 2000, a Kenyan man wrote to then-president Bill Clinton offering the animals in accordance with African tradition.

After a pause, Clinton said, "My daughter is her own person, very independent, so I will convey this very kind offer."

Clinton has denied rumors that her daughter, 29, is planning to get married this summer.
