Online journalism a MUST

It has come to my attention that through internet we can do a lot of thinks, find facts, datas, and prove the ‘impossibles’ possible.

The on going training in TGDLC at The Insitute of Finance Management (IFM) premises in Dar es Salaam has improve my skills on usage of computers especially internet in finding facts, statistics, background informations etc.

The training which is going to end on Friday has been vital to all participants from different media houses both print and electronic because there is no way they can avoid using internet in this era of modern journalism.

Yesterday we had a chance to go through different media and institution websites and learn how best we can use internet in our daily activities.

With the assistance of our facilitator from Finland, participants opened various websites such as http://www.ippmedia.com/, http://www.reuters.com/, http://www.fifa.com/, http://www.raiamwema.co.tz/, http://www.tzonline.go.tz/, http://www.theeastafrican.co.ke/, http://www.thisday.co.tz/, http://www.cloudsfm.co.tz/, http://www.parliament.go.tz/, http://www.uhuruinfo.co.tz/, http://www.jamiiforum.com/, http://www.cnn.com/, http://www.bbcnews.com/, http://www.freemedia.co.tz/ etc where they experienced different layouts, contents, and operations.
