Harare woman forces son to have intercourse with her for riches

A Harare woman is at loggerheads with her married son whom amid allegations that the mother had asked her son to have sex for rituals.

Irene Nzuwa dragged her son Kudakwashe Munemo to Harare Civil Court where she was seeking a protection order against him. She complained that she had been having problems with her son from the time he was still in school.

Irene, who seemed to have lost all the care for her dear son wanted the court to bar Kudakwashe from communicating with Irene or visiting her to her place of residence whatsoever.

"We started having problems when he started bringing girlfriends home. What irked me most is the fact that he sent me some text messages accusing me of having sex with him so that I would get rich. He said I was using him as my boyfriend," she said.

Irene told the court that her son at one time came to her workplace where he caused a scene. She said Kuda scaled over the security cast wall and went on to disorderly knock at her office door attracting the attention of Irene's workmates.

Responding to the allegations, Kuda refuted the claims and was quick to point a finger at his mother saying she hates his wife.

"She is exaggerating the incidents. It is true that I scaled over the pre-cast wall but I was coming from inside not what she said. The problem is that she doesn't like my wife since she wanted me to marry a wife of her own choice," he said.

However, with regards to being forced by his mother to have with her for rituals, Kuda could neither deny nor confirm the allegations.

Magistrate Vongai Muchuchuti who presided over the case dismissed Irene's application on the basis that the court could not bar Kudakwashe from visiting or communicating with his one and only mother.
