Thousands of protestors took to the streets on Wednesday demanding the government of Rwanda takes action against the British broadcaster BBC following a documentary they say denies the 1994 genocide against Tutsis.

Protestors who included mainly university students organized in a Kigali suburb and headed to Parliament with a petition letter. 

They want lawmakers to act. The letter was handed to the Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament by representatives of the protestors.
