Mbwa wawili mbaroni

Two dogs were arrested after they allegedly bit a young boy in the head, police in Nigeria said.
Lagos State Police said that they have detained the dogs after they attacked 4-year-old Omonigho Abraham.

A spokesperson for the police said that only a court can decide whether the two dogs will be euthanized. The dogs had been examined and found to be free of disease.

The father of the injured boy, Odiah Abraham, said that he had warned the owner about the dangers of allowing the dogs to run around the neighborhood three days before the incident.

The dogs allegedly chased a couple, but they managed to escape uninjured after running into their fenced yard and shutting the door.
