took home the most prestigious prize at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards
and gave a performance for the ages! The most riveting performance of
her career!
She did what no one had ever done before in the history of music – she performed her entire album in a medley before husband Jay Z got on stage with Blue Ivy and presented her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
Jay Z called her the “greatest entertainer in the world,” while Blue said “Yay, mommy!” All hail Queen Yonce!
He told her: 'The recipient of the Michael Jackson Vanguard award and the greatest living entertainer Beyonce.'
The overwhelmed Halo star said: 'I'm so full. Thank you. I have nothing to say but I'm filled with so much gratitude. I thank god for this moment. I love you so much.
'Baby Blue, my beloved I love you.'
