A boy who loved Spider-Man, is dead after he fell from his bedroom window.
The 5 year old who was identified as Valentino of Jakarta, Indonesia, reportedly went out his bedroom window.
His distraught mother told police that her son asked her if he can go see the new superhero movie.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was released in Indonesia on Wednesday, and has been a hit.
The movie is said to have scored the country's highest opening day box office figures of all time.
However, the 23-year-old mother, identified as Eva, explained that they cannot go see the movie because her one-year-old child was not feeling well.
Valentino became upset, ran into his room and locked the door.
The mother then went to a neighbor for help, but after several minutes, she heard a commotion coming from outside.
The boy’s body was found on the rooftop of a restaurant below.
Valentino was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
During the initial investigation, police found that the child, who loved Spider-Man, climbed onto his bed, opened the window and somehow fell out.
