Polisi huyo, Linda Okello alipigwa picha akiwa kazini katika barabara ya Kiambu, na picha hizo zikawekwa kwenye mitandao na kuzuau mijadala kama ni sahihi au si sahihi kwa ofisa huyo kuvaa hivyo.
Kuna taarifa zinazodai kuwa, kuna shinikizo la kutaka polisi huyo ahamishwe kutoka kituo chake cha kazi cha sasa.

The Kenyan police officer whose photo wearing a tight skirt has been
doing rounds in social media has been issued with a brand new pair of
trousers and should not wear skirts.
The cop was pictured in a local newspaper as she did her duties along Kiambu road.
The photo took flight on social media causing uproar in some quarters.
The traffic cop Linda Okello was summoned by the local county
commander James Mugeria after he saw the photo circulating.
He
reprimanded her and allowed her to continue with her duties.
He termed her dressing as indecent and asked her to dress “well”.
The summoning was termed by Kiambu officials as procedural.
According to reports, police boss Grace Khaindi was pushing locay
commander to transfer Linda to a post in the North Eastern Kenya most
likely Mandera.
It is not clear why she is being targetted for discipline considering
she is wearing government issued uniform. It is however not also clear
whether she made alterations to the skirt or not.
It is also believed that the officer may just have outgrown her skirt
but there has been no recent issue of uniforms to the Kiambu officers.
