27-year-old
Masindi Selona from Polokwane in Limpopo, SA, regrets sending indecent pictures
to Katlego Ntshweng, who she thought was the man of her dreams.
"We met on Facebook. We exchanged phone numbers and in no time we were having late night calls and planning our future together," she said.
Mostly they talked on Facebook and later they started chatting on WhatsApp.
"Katlego asked me for [indecent] pictures of myself and I thought I was making him happy when I sent him the pictures and a video, but it was a terrible mistake," she said.
Masindi said at first Katlego was happy and asked her for more pictures with no clothes.
"He kept on telling me how he couldn't stop thinking about me and how he couldn't wait to have me next to him."
She said she was shocked when her boyfriend then became distant, cold and mean.
"He was not replying to any of my messages or phone calls. I knew something was wrong," she said.
Masindi said she sent the pictures and video out of love but she was shocked when the guy she thought was a true lover turned against her.
"He started telling me to leave him alone and threatened to post my [indecent] pictures on Facebook. I couldn't believe it.
"He broke my heart. I just couldn't understand that the same guy who was loving and a perfect gentleman to me could be so cruel. I believe he picks up women on Facebook and gets them to fall for him and then he breaks their hearts."

When Daily Sun contacted Katlego, he said he and Masindi met on Facebook but they had never dated.
"In just two days she was telling me how she was in love with me and she threatened to come to Alberton and become a streetkid just to be near me," said Katlego.
