Arsène Wenger believes the midfield options at his disposal are among the best he has ever had.

And with the likes of Mikel Arteta, Francis Coquelin and Aaron Ramsey also in the mix, Wenger is thrilled with the increasing strength of his squad .
“Yes [we have lots of options we didn't have before], that is true,” said the Frenchman. “Especially in midfield. Centre backs as well.
“When you think at the moment we have Wilshere who is not playing, Rosicky who is not playing and he was very important for us last year. Frimpong is not playing, Coquelin is not playing, Ramsey too. So we have exceptional choice.
“In terms of quality and numbers in midfield [it is one of our best squads ever]. For sure.”
