'Nimerithi kwa wazazi wangu'

A talented performer who discovered an amazing ability to bend her body into incredible positions has taken her performances to extreme new levels - shooting a bow and arrow with her feet.

Stunning contortionist Lilia Stepanova, 24, combines her seemingly back-breaking positions with elevated hand balancing to make her act even more difficult

In one of her most incredible acts, she shoots an arrow from a bow to a target in the distance - using only her feet and toes.

And she has even appeared on a number of hit US shows including a stint on America's Got Talent where she reached the semi finals.

She said: 'My act can never perfected because just like any other athlete you have to stay on top of it and always stay focused and keep training - I never stop training.

'It's a big part of my job, which to the audience might seem easy and fun, and while it is a lot of fun I put myself through a lot of pain.

'I'm on stage for my act for only five minutes but I also train and warm up before every single one of my performances for about an hour.

'That is something the audience doesn't see and probably doesn't even realise, so when I tell them they're always so surprised.

'It's become my full time job now but recently I've started training other students contortion.

'I've been very fortunate to have been raised in a family that were also performers and have taught me and guided me to get me where I am today

'I loved performing on America's Got Talent it was a wonderful experience and I'm so thankful to all my fans for getting me as far as I did.

'Luckily nothing went wrong but it has happened before - and it's very stressful when it does, although fortunately I've never really injured anyone.'

Lilia, from Chisinau, Moldova, believes her amazing ability has been inherited from her athletic parents Alex and Ina who were professional performers when she was young.
