MultiChoice would like to advise all DStv and analogue customers that from 1 April 2009, the monthly DStv and analogue subscription rate will increase.
The following increases apply for the various bouquets:
DStv Premium subscription from R468.99 to R499.00 (a 6% increase)
DStv Compact R199.00 to R219.99 (10 % increase)
PVR access fee R 55.00 to R60.00
DStv Indian North (stand-alone) from R227.75 to R237.00. DStv Indian North (add-on) from R 143.63 to R 152.80
DStv Portuguesa (stand-alone) from R222.75 to R237.00 (6.4% increase) DStv Portuguesa (add-on) from R143.63 to R152.80
DStv Indian South (stand-alone) from R168.91 to R179.70
DStv Indian South (add-on) from R108.61 to R115.60
Analogue from R254.06 to R269.00 (5.8%)
DStv Select increases from R139.00 to R148.00 (as of 1 May 2009)
There will be no increase to the various Decoder Care Contract (DCC) fees or to the reconnection fees.
The annual price increase is to accommodate the rise in operating costs of the company.
