Bongo singer Diamond Platnumz and Nigeria’s songstress Yemi Alade have signed up with Kenya’s royalty collection body, Music Copyright Society of Kenya.
The two stars joined up after their recent visits to the country for the recording of Coke Studio Africa.
“We presented Diamond with a really big cheque worth of
loyalties, and after taking him through our procedures, he was willing
to sign with us.
Presently, he is the most popular foreign artiste and
also the highest foreign loyalty earner.
Yemi was around as we took
Diamond through the process and she got very impressed by what was on
offer and that’s when we put pen-to-paper.”
MCSK CEO Maurice Okoth said.
