Two bombs were set off at the Jos Main Market, behind Ahmadu Bello Way.It's a densely
populated area and the commercial hub of the city in Nigeria.
The first explosion
is said to have gone off at about 2:30 pm,in a Siena space bus with number plate,Plateau XB 146 BLD.
The second blast went off 30 minutes later, killing many more who rushed to the scene of the first bomb to rescue victims.
An eyewitness who was
shopping says people were running, cars smashing into each other ,and bodies flying...and the whole roads are blocked as some abandoned their cars and ran.
According to eyewitnesses, the number of casualties exceeds 200 as
against an official figure because the market was densely populated..
