Priceless: Student Catarina Migliorini says her first deal was never consummated

A Brazilian model is hoping to make thousands of pounds by auctioning her virginity to the highest bidder - for the second time.

Catarina Migliorini, 21, sold her virginity for $780,000 in October last year to a Japanese millionaire identified only as 'Natsu'.

But the student says she never received the money and the deal was never consummated.

Now she is hoping to raise even more money the second time round, the Huffington Post reports

Catarina is accepting minimum bids of $100,00 but told a Brazilian website she hopes to make $1.5million.

Her remarkable offer made headlines around the world in October 2012, but drew a fair amount of criticism.
The auction was part of a documentary by Australian filmmaker Justin Sisely called 'Virgins Wanted'.

At the time, Brazil’s attorney general, Joao Pedro de Saboia Bandeira de Mello Filho, threatened to prosecute Mr Sisely for sex trafficking if the deal went through.

Originally, Catarina said she would donate 90 per cent of the money to redevelopment projects in her home state.
It is not clear if she has made the same promise this time around.

On her website virginswanted2.com she states: "I am still a virgin in every way and all the evidence, so, I never have had any sexual involvement and no one in this whole world can claim otherwise, and so I decided to make my own website to auction off my virginity and that time will be for real, so men or women who are interested can make their bids."

Catarina's story has sparked a wave of copycat virgin auctions online.

Earlier this month, a Russian teenager sold her virginity for more than £17,000.

An in February a Romanian teenager made more than £8,000 which she used to pay for her computing degree.

BRAZIL: A Brazilian model has announced plans to auction off her virginity to the highest bidder – for a second time. Catarina Migliorini, 21, became famous around the world last year when she struck a deal to sell her virginity to a Japanese millionaire, only known as Natsu, for £480,000. But the physical education student now claims she never received the money and insists they never had sex. She also accused Australian filmmaker Justin Sisely of faking the auction as part of a publicity for his documentary Virgins Wanted. Discussing her decision to auction her virginity for a second time, Ms Migliorini said she hopes to receive a bid of at least £930,000 through her website VirginsWanted2.com. ‘After being featured by so many media outlets in so many countries, I decided to actually auction off my virginity,’ she told the Huffington Post. A total of 15 bids were submitted in the original auction, with ‘Natsu’ seeing off a rival bid from Indian millionaire Rudra Chatterjee. Ms Migliorini said she would give 90 per cent of the winning bid from the first auction to charity redevelopment projects in her home state of Santa Catarina. ‘If you only do it once in your life then you are not a prostitute, just like if you take one amazing photograph it does not automatically make you a photographer,’ she added.
