Kenya Airways yazindua ndege ya abiria 400

Shirika la Ndege la Kenya, Kenya Airways imezindua ndege mpya aina ya Boeing 777-300ER iliyopewa jina la Maasai Mara.
 
Kenya Airways has received the first of three Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts planned to strengthen the airline’s long haul capability. The new state of the art aircraft touched down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Friday, the 25th of October.

Kenya Airways Managing Director, Dr. Titus Naikuni says the aircraft, which has a capacity of 400 passengers and can carry over 20 metric tonnes of cargo, will become the 45th and the largest on its fleet.

“As our fleet and route expansion plan gains momentum, we are excited to be receiving the Boeing 777-300ER. It enters into service in November and will be flying non-stop to Guangzhou in China,” said Naikuni.

The aircraft has new cabin interiors and advanced amenities with more inflight entertainment options and comfortable seats that are set to offer excellent passenger experience.

While making his keynote address during a ceremony held to receive the new plane, Cabinet Secretary for transport and infrastructure Eng. Michael Kamau said KQ’s new acquisition will help increase trade relations with China and the rest of the world. Eng. Kamau revealed that all public servants will only use Kenya Airways in all their flights in a bid to support the national carrier.
