A woman’s alleged love for home video has led to the permanent deformity
of her 18-month-old baby following a generator explosion in their home
in Akure, Ondo State.
The baby, Miss Oluwasola Fatejo, lost her two hands and pretty face
in the incident that occurred while her mother, Mrs Mercy Fatejo was
allegedly busy watching her favourite Yoruba soap inside the room.
It was gathered that the housewife was so engrossed in the movie that she did
not know when little Oluwasola walked away from the room to the kitchen where she picked a matchbox and moved to the corridor of their apartment in Oshinle area of the capital city.
