Cissy Houston has slammed her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina's "incestuous" relationship with her "adopted" brother Nick Gordon.
Bobbi, Whitney Houston's daughter, was caught kissing 22-year-old Nick on camera earlier this week, confirming reports that they are not involved romantically.
According to TMZ, Cissy has reacted to the shocking footage, and has told friends: "What they're doing is incestuous."
Cissy reportedly feels that Bobbi has issues she needs to work through, but that isn't possible when Nick is taking advantage of her.
The gospel singer is allegedly taking steps to keep Nick away from her granddaughter, and has asked the Whitney Houston Estate to evict Nick from the house Bobbi shares with him in Atlanta, Georgia.
Bobbi Kristina, 19, and Nick Gordon, 22, went public with their new relationship following the diva’s death last month.
Whitney had called Nick her son after taking him under her wing 10 years ago.
He and Bobbi were spotted kissing and cuddling last week at a Target store in Johns Creek, Georgia.
Nick Tweeted and Bobbi reTweeted his messages:
“Yea we got a little closer and what!!! All the haters that dont know us or the real story can’t unfollow me. I don’t give a f***. I’ve proved my loyalty to her and the Houston family. I don’t owe any of you anything. And Kriss is doing really well, I’ve been so happy with her strength.”
He denied that he was after Bobbi’s inheritance.
Internet trolls have blasted the couple as “gross”. One wrote: “ok.... Let me go f*** my god brother then. GOD..... BROTHER. Lol.”
Before Whitney’s death Bobbi often posted about spending time with Nick, but always called him her brother.
Relationship therapist Dr Phil Dembo has spoken out to say their romance is “not acceptable”.
He said: “It certainly has the feel of an incestuous dynamic.
“It isn’t surprising though that Bobbi Kristina would reach out to someone she is comfortable with.”
