Kerry Meades recently revealed details of her alleged time with the Chelsea footballer, claiming that she had slept with him in America, where he "acted like a single man".
In a public letter to the former X Factor judge - published in Reveal magazine - 29-year-old Meades warned Cheryl that she "deserves better" than Ashley.
However, while she said "sorry", Meades made it clear that she is not apologising "for my actions", insisting that she believed Ashley "was a single guy" at the time.
"But I'm sorry you've had to learn this way that Ashley isn't the changed man you thought he was," she wrote.
"It's clear you love Ashley, as you've taken this huge risk to take him back. I feel awful because he's let you down again. I think it's clear he's not going to change."Meades continued:
"I really fancied him as a person. He might be short but what he lacks in height he makes up for in personality. But don't be fooled by his act. He's calculating and knows exactly what he's doing.
"While he was trying to win you back he was with me - and that is just wrong."Meades went on to warn Cheryl: "If you choose to forgive him, my only advice is keep one eye open at all times.
He's in a position where he can destroy you - and I really hope you don't let that happen.
"Recent reports have suggested that Cheryl was furious to discover Ashley's latest alleged flings and had called off a potential reunion.
